are gc8 and wrx fuel filters different?

Is there a difference between a gc8 2.5rs fuel filter and a 2002 wrx fuel filter. If so are they easily identifiable, ie. One is bigger and fatter or something like that. thanks.

Nope- the Impreza has used the same fuel filter since 1993, and shares it with all current generation Legacys including the Outbacks/Bajas, as well as with the Forester.
