Exclamation hids causing highbeam indicator to be on?

ever since i installed my hids in my sti projectors(03 wrx) i have had the high beam indicator flickering on and off randomly. sometimes it also lights but dimly, and then for no apparent reason it will go away and come back. everything seems to be working properly, its just getting annoying seeing that blue indicator in the dash. does anyone know what may be causing this?

Have you disabled your DRLs by disconnecting the main module by the glovebox, and have you done the fog light mod? Both of these can help solve post-HID install problems like you are having.
How are your HIDs wired? If the negative side of the ballasts are connected to the OEM switched grounds this may cause problems also. Try moving them to a direct chassis or battery ground and leave the low beam switched grounds open.
