Default Impreza L Auto to Manual

I found an Impreza L very close to me for only 2k.
It has 119,000 miles, rack and pinion just replaced as well as a new headgasket.

The only problem is it is an auto. I want to eventually do a swap, but its going to be a year or two. I was wondering where would be the best place to get a manual tranny for this car, and how much do you think the whole swap would cost. Also a run down of the parts, and if anyone has a site that goes through the installation process?

.. those are the best pics I have of it, thanks in advance for helping out

Wouldn't life be muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch simpler if you bought a manual instead of swapping?

I found a really reliable person to buy from, plus its only 2k and like 10 miles from my house. It's much easier, unless the swap is really hard, hence why I asked the aformentioned question

Oh, hehe that was my biggest reason for getting this car. Every subie ive seen for sale thats manual is either 4 door or too much money. This is soo close and the guy is willing to give it to me for 2k so I figure if i can get a manual swap im set.

The price is so steep for me I'm scared to even think about it, the front is definately a plus, but the L can always be upgraded

... still looking for any information on the manual swap
