Thumbs up I fixed my radiator...

...I think, anyway (see this post for details of the incident). After the repair, it sure seems solid. Here's what happens when you spend 20 minutes with some epoxy and fiberglass cloth. I'm going to keep close to home with the Impreza for the next few days and see if it holds. I am planning on getting a new radiator though, so it's just temporary. Thanks again for all the help, guys.

I got a little carried away with the epoxy on the last couple layers.

Working with it? No. Making it look good? Now that's a little tougher. I'm FAR from being a fiberglass expert; everything I know is self taught. Maybe I should find a book or something, eh? I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a tutorial on it out there on the Internet or something. You might try a few simple searches.

Yeah, but what does it do to your warranty?

All kidding aside, good job. Looks like it should hold for a while.

Awww, come on, Jay... If a little is good, more must be better right? And way too much is better yet! It looked really good until I tried to use up the last little bit of epoxy. Oh well.

Horatio, I've got the best warranty of all... or at least the one that's easiest to use. Unlimited miles, unlimited months, unlimited deductable. It's the Joshco Extended warranty.

Going for a drive. Wish me luck.

It just looks that way, Eric. My engine bay is just really, really dirty. Remind me to wash it out some day.
