Default cel p0328 & p1544???

The other morning I randomly got a cel. I figured it was the egt gone bad since I have a catless uppipe installed. So after installing the resistor mod the cel was still on. Today I went to auto zone and had the codes pulled. They were:
p0328 - knock sensor high input
p1544 - high exhaust temp

I am thinking it may be from bad gas? The only thing I changed with the car in the last 2 months was putting on a prodrive rear muffler. My only other mod is a vishnu pully. It just so happens that I filled up with shell gas the night before.
I think the 0328 was the original code and by messing with the egt I caused 1544.

what value resistor did u use for the up? and also, what wattage rating was it?

as for ur knock cel, one of two things, either ur sensor is bad, or you have a bad connection somewhere between the sensor and the ecu

I used a 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt with 5% tolerance. Do you know where the knock sensor plugs into?

hmm, odd that u're reading a high egt. can't figure that one out. that's the correct value w/the correct wattage rating as well

as for the location of the knock sensor. from the crappy picture in the service manuel, it appears that you'll have to remove ur ic. it's tapped into the engine block, right below the throttle cable linkage. it appears to look like a banjo bolt-type.......one more note, it said that when u put it back, it must be 60 degrees relative to the engine rear....i say, just note which direction it's in and put it back the same way

I'm thinking maybe when I was messing with the egt I may have pulled loose the knock sensor. Is that located under that removable plastic flap near the left side of the car?

Does anyone know the part number for the knock sensor? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
