I have two work schedules that vary throughout the week. 8:30am-3:30pm and 2:30pm-10:00pm. I take my Cougar (1990, no options, 125,000 miles, auto) when I work the early shifts because of traffic, and the RS (manual)when I work the late shifts because there is no traffic.
I also drive it in on weeekends of course! ![]() Eric |

Mainly to drive NYC <--> Albany, NY each weekend. I don't even see my car from Monday through Friday because I work in NYC and take the subway to work during the week.

Toast the unsuspecting...
![]() Drive to work, bike races, stuff like that. It's the regular family ride, though I do intend to do some autox this summer, once I get the full measure of my Tein coilovers. Kevin |

I'm a one car kinda guy, so I drive it wherever I go. My commute is 10 miles round-trip, so I can also just drive about at will looking for fun and not have to worry about racking up too many miles.

Mine's a hang out and play car mostly. With the not so occasional spirited drive thrown in. As for tranny, I wouldn't trade a stock manual RS for a turbo auto one.

I drive it everywhere becuase I love driving!! To work, to friends, on canyon runs, in autocrosses etc... maybe if i lived in a house I'd have a daily driver car, but unless traffic is really bad I don't mind driving the subaru...

My 90 Legacy L is my daily driver, Rally-X car and soon to be my SCCA Club Rally car. This car is just too much fun!
I dream of owning one of these! Sorry for all of the photos, first time posting pics. |

Mine mainly sits in the shop for 3 months
but if it ever comes back out (doubtfull at this point) I auto-x, i would rally-x if there was one out here and it's my daily driver...at least it was..or will be....whatever you get the idea . |

What? You think we can all afford more than one car? Sheesh ;-) Noppa, my RS "Alcyone" is a daily driver. My round-trip is 90 miles. Too much you say? Hey, just means I get to spend more time with her! Drive her on the weekends too, anywhere I can. Auto-X? Maybe, if I ever have the time. With work, flying and school, it leaves very little extra. Gotta fly!

OH and uh, about the tranny....If you want the best out of a car's performance, then there's no way you can drive an automatic. Manual, manual, manual (or semi-auto) That's physics speaking, not me. Gotta fly!

Well right up until I broke the trans, for 2 years straight I never missed a Autocross, started solo 1 racing, over 100 timeslips at the 1/4, and some offroad action at our local pineapple fields. Car can take a beating.
