What kind of coolant and brake fluid are you guys using?

just wat the title says? im wondering if u guys use a difference or performance coolant or brake fluid, thanx

well, on my street car...
(2001 impreza rs)
any ole coolant will do...
and about to swap brake fluid
but not to anything special.

the car doesnt get hot enough
for any of these to be an issue.

on my rally car?
(2003 WRX Wagon)
Coolant: Redline water wetter
Brake Fluid: Motul

and both work as expected!
excellent results...
never overheated...
and brakes have yet to fade

My personal preference which came about from another car manufacturer (Volvo), was only to use the manufacturers' coolant. So as the onwer of a Volvo with 360,000 miles on the engine, and never a coolant issue. I stand by that opinion, and use only Subaru coolant. Definitely costs more, but you are absolutely sure it was formulated for the types of metals that the coolant comes in contacts with (Iron, Aluminium, Brass, etc.)

In regards to the brake fluid, I use Motul RBF600, since I did experience brake fade with the stock fluid. Now to preface all of this I live in So. California, so that gives you an idea of the driving conditions, and climate that my car experiences.
