Default sti what would you pay

Looks like I might be selling a 2004 WRX STi.

Silver paint, Silver rims, 6000 miles.

This sale is not 100% but I will know in the next 20-30 minutes weather or not it will be forsale. I am posting here to see what people would pay for it. Retail is 32,995 and most dealers mark them up about 3,000 dollars (at least here in Utah). In fact there is a local one forsale for 34,995 and it is used. So anyways just kinda guaging interest and looking for potential buyers.

So what might people pay?

LMK

Jared

30,000 no more.

FWIW You CAN buy them at less than invoice, a bit $100-$300, if you do you homework.

last time i checked it was 32995. or was it 32999 i cant remember. either way im apreciating the responses, the thing is is i think i might have one that is going to go up for sale very soon for around the mark of under 30 or just over 30k just to let anyone know, autotrader has quite a few listed, and about everyone of them (in utah) is listed for 37000 new. 33-35k used, and there was ONE for 31 or something like that. theres a local dealer with one forsale with more than 1000 miles for 35k, which all leads me to believe 2 things. stis are a really hot comodity, and Utahs performance car market sucks ass, if they are marking up stis that much and selling used ones for more than retail. hech we didnt even get the srt-4 for months after it hit the US. even now i only have seen one or two in utah.

Like what someone else hinted at, being able to get one at sticker there is no way I'd pay more than $27-28k for a used one, especially with more than just a couple thousand miles on it. If you really have to sell though, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

the dealership in Orange, NY(Bill Kolb) is selling new STi's for $30,500 before taxes and junk.

i'd have to agree with KKoepp31 - $27-28k sounds about right depending your area.

I've found one place (Van Bortel) that sells STi's for invoice ($29,something) and multiple places that are selling for $100-300 over invoice. I'd say $27,000 is a good figure... 6k miles is a lot.

thanks everyone. heres the story. my close buddy and business partner was just at an auto auction, and found that STi (2910 actual miles, not 6000) and i was triing to guage interest on it since he would be reselling it most likely.

the dealer wanted alittle too much for it, so he did not buy it, so yeah. thanks for all your little tid bits of info.

Yup Van Bortel is down the street from me and they have never had one on the lot and currently there are 4 waiting to get picked up. The last time I asked they had 180 people on the waiting list for STI's.
They sell all of there Subaru's for $400 over cost and that includes STI's

I would think that your car is worth $28K since there are a good number that still can be had new or used!
