Default 87 GL Turbo Wagon

Had a guy bring in a 87 GL Wagon Turbo with a pretty bad exhaust leak yeaterday. The front pipe that goes around the motor to the turbo was busted, and there was no welding it. Anybody got one of these or know of one in a junkyard? I want to try and fix his car, but none of the aftermarket exhaust companies make the part, and the dealer in my town has a worthless parts dept. Pretty cool car, had digital dash, 5 speed, roof. Needs an intercooler. Any help would be appreciated.

If my old mechanic was still around he had like 4 of these just laying around... but he retired and moved away

I agree, try the USMB asking for an EA82 uppipe

I may have one, but I'm not sure about shipping. If you're really desperate, I suppose I could work something out. You might try junkyards first though.

dude. There are a few yards in NC via www.car-parts.com that I have used before.

I may be a USMB member but this may be faster for ya.

Try the year window 1986-1992 for the engine and obviously select the turbo listing ......

if i could remember the yard I delt with over a year ago for air ride (for my 87 turbo wagon) I'd tell ya it. sorry can't be more help.

Thanks for the replies and offers. I talked to the guy, and he dropped it down off the car and welded it himself. Seems to have been a inexpierenced tech I was dealing with. I should have yanked it off the car, cleaned it up and welded it myself.
