i got the kit from impreza888 on i-club for $400 installed. the kit is suppose to be the same HID kits found on Lexus and Acura(factory). very satisfied with the light output and color, and the onsite installation was wonderful from Andy, highly recommend him!
i'll try to take more pics tonight.

Do your foglights shine bright yellow or a darker shade of yellow?

From that last pic, it seems to be kinda amber like.

lexus and acura use phillips HID systems, 4500K is almost the same brightness as lexus and acura and all the rest, 4500 is a white color and its the most bright, i think $400 was a little too much, you could of had 5300K for about $300

but still looks really nice, throw on super super whites in your fogs for it'll look great

heres a WRX with silver stars vs 5300k

The picture was probably taken right when the lights turned on. Whenever you turn on your HIDs the light will look a bit blue and then it will turn white for the kits that are around 5000k.

ommmjido is right, HIDs do make a significant difference. You might not be able to tell by looking AT the headlights. You can see a picture of the 02 WRX halogen vs. the 02 WRX HID in the middle of this thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...17#post5035717

Look for the picture posted by Force[Fed] to see what a big difference it is. I'm sure no one here speeds on the freeway but when you're driving much faster than the speed limit you'll want to see much further than the area that is covered by your halogens.
