Default OT: need help with pdf file

I have a PDF file that has some documents in which i occasionally print then highlight... it's a 1003 loan application in which i give to clients. Unfortunately, i give A LOT if these forms out and they can range from 8-30pages long in which i much highlight what the customer must fill out.

This takes entirely way too much time to do manually. I figure with all this technology there has to be something like a program or a way to highlight these documents and still make it legible for my customers. I tried it once with acrobat but when i printed it all out it was hard to see. Anyone please?

someone help me please

Having dealt with 1003's on the other end, I know where you're coming from. Problem is, unless you're going to use a color laser (hah!), nothing you can do in terms of highlighting before the print is going to help much, because people are dumb, and won't see a light grey (about all you can do) as a signal to fill something out.

Depending on how many types of loans you handle, I'd suggest just making a companion document that would go along with your apps like:

Page 1: box 2-8, 12, 19

etc.

Course, I was working in government loanss, so we generally had 4 page 1003's, then a huge packet of other crap....

Not much help, though, sorry

I thought about doing it in a light grey and having something say "fill out light grey portions only"... but nothing seemed to work out very well. thanks anyway

anyone else?

Print the doc normally (B&W)....then make another PDF that is the colored highlighting only. Then print that in color on top of the original form.

That's all I got!

Exclamation Um

You need Adobe FrameMaker to edit PDF files. (There may be other applications to do this as well)
