Lightbulb EVO 7 VS WRX

personally, the new EVO is ugly, is so fat and tall and not as sporty as the pass. If u have a choice, would u go for EVO 7 or WRX? me...the WRX, the new WRX was ugly at the first sight, but AWESOME to me NOW!! i think the designer in japan for the new impreza is smart, making us NEVER gets bored of this style..just makes u love more and more..

Although I love the RS styling, I've also grown to love the WRX styling. I'd go with the WRX.

Can someone post the pic of new EVO?
I've seen some so-called "spy" pic, but not sure if we are talking about the same thing...

Never mind, I saw the pics.
I would say except the front end, everything on WRX looks better imo.
Although the front end on of the new EVO isn't much better either...

evo7 is not as cool looking as evo6.
I like the new wrx better than evo7.
You gotta love the rally version of wrx.

the only things that might change my mind is
a better center/rear diff, more hp and
better interior.

Looks like ECHO?
Too me looks like an Accord coupe version.
I wonder how WRX is going to look when STI version comes out in US. (I want it)

I would take the evo7 over the wrx, but i would do away with that ricer wing. Besides it a better preformer in all catagories over the wrx

I have said this before but...
Dam Mitsu, that must have been hard to make a Honda Accord!!!
I would take the WRX STi over that car in a heartbeat.

I value performance over looks. Advantage: EVO 7. Well now that I think about it, it looks better than a WRX too. Sorry. Hey, at least the WRX looks better than a Pontiac Aztec.

EVO 7's performance is better than WRX alright. But don't forget that EVO is in the same class as the STi version. (Both price and performance).
Now EVO doesn't not exactly have the performance advantage over STi does it?

I wonder what heppened to the Mistu designing department. Mitsubishi cars usually look good, (think about FTO, Pajero, Galant... and most of their concepts)
The new Lancer looks just like the old fashioned Japanese econo-box.
And EVO7 (based on Lancer) still seem to have a bit of that image. (Unlike EVO 5, 6, 6.5's "Get out of my way!" image)

Imo Impreza already grew out of this image, although with a radical styling...

subforever, agreed.
The proportions does look odd eh?
Rear wheel arcs are too small, and the tail looks rather cheap compared to the last EVO.

Question

call me crazy... but the above pic seems photoshopped to me. The hood vents' angles don't look right.... maybe it's just the picture compression.
