Default Good Chinese Food Local.

Whoa, nifty graphics!

anyway. I'm in Sacto, Sunris Blvd Near Hwy 50 and I'm looking for a good chinese place to eat at. I mean not like the fast food places, somewhere pretty good but not like mega expensive. Anyone know of a place near by? not as far as downtown but close to ranch cordova / carmichael.

Fat's is an institution in Sac. You'll often see politicians eating there. Maybe Arnold will be there. The food is good, a little pricey.

A little far to drive for you from Rancho but Jade Fountain on Freeport Rd near Fruitridge is good Cantonese eats for cheap price. Food may not be quite four-star quality but it's a favorite among the old neighborhood Chinese community. Service is speedy and most of the dishes are priced at $4 to $5 and feature generous portions. Jade Fountain's main claim to local fame is its jook (rice porridge).
