Smile Beware of flying Neons!

from SCCA Lake Superior ProRally - Tom Young and Jim LeBean in their '95 ACR on Brockway Stage.

Patrick Richard had a fantastic jump on that stage. However, I screwed up taking the photo because it was the first shot on a new roll of film and my camera setting got reset

Hate to be there for the landing.
The suspension doesn't look like it'll be asking for more after that.

LOL! Great pic! The front bumper already looks like it got bolted back on with stuff from Ace Hardware.

That driver is loving life! Cheap car, abusive driving, what better combination?

Doesn't someone have a shot of Pat's jump last year?

I KNOW it exists in video...

this is stolen from Pat's website without asking permission, but nonetheless with sincere intention to promote his rally talent:

He did much, much better this year. After flying for something like four car lengths he landed as if nothing happened - no thumps, bumps, creaks, or squeaks! DMS shocks are amazing! Eventually, someone will post videos and photos of Pat's flight - there were a whole bunch of spectators with camcoders, SLRs, and digicams. Speedvision got to show his flight as well.

I have a number of video clips that I got last year that I think are from that same jump. I didn't know what they were from, I just knew they were cool clips! I have that black RS, a couple Audi Quattros, and a nice one of a yellow Prelude losing it on landing and recovering (accompanied by much cheering from the spectators).

The RS and Audi ones are about 300kb .mov's and the Prelude one is about 1.3Mb .mov. If anyone is really interested I guess I could email them, although I do have a normal modem so it will be kinda painful.
