Default new Rotors need to be resurfaced?

I just bought some new DBA rotors and the h6 legacy rotors, and I was wondering if they need to be resurfaced or are they good to go right outa the box? I can't seem to find any information in the box..

and my new calipers say "resurface rotors", however I think they are talking if you were to re-use the old ones.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

Not exactly. Don't forget to clean them with brake parts cleaner as they will be coated tp prevent rust during shipping. Otherwise, they better be good out of the box. However, places like NAPA sell 2 grades of rotors, one they gurantee to be good, one they recommend having checked.

technically they should be good to go....however depending on who you talk to and how the rotors have been handled they might not be 100% true.
