OT: that New movie trailer during the F1 race?

For those who watched the F1 race, what was that movie called with Stalone. It says it will be out spring '01. I liked the part where they were in their indy cars and racing underneath the tractor trailer's.

It's called Get Carter. It looks like it may be alright. It's been a while since I have seen Sylvester in a new movie. What is the last one he was in?

Green Hornet, I think he means Stalone's new open wheel racing flick. I didn't see the commercial, don't know it's title though. Sorry

. Get Carter opens on the 6th of October and that movie's got nothing to do with racing.

I don't think thats the movie. I checked it on the net and it looks nowhere near what the preview was on TV. maybe there were two stalone trailers on that day. The trailer i saw was Racing oriented.

I think it is called "Driver".

I have a friend that works in Hollywood he will know. I will ask him tomorrow.

I thought it was called "Driven." I heard he was making a movie about racing. I was hoping it was going to be F1 and not another nascar. Glad to see he listened.

I was watching CART qualifying a while back (I think for Atlanta?) and they interviewed Sly who was on hand.

He started talking about his upcoming movie based on the CART series. It was also revealed that originally, the movie was supposed to be based on F1. However, there were "conflicts" with the F1 people so it was changed to CART.

My sources tell me this movie is a big snore...nothing happens in the first 100 pages of the script.

It's called Driven. I ahevn't heard anything about it. The f1 lunatic I date wants to see it, but I can't stand Stallone.

Are you sure it's going to be called Driven, I've heard that "Champs" is the working title since it's based on Champ Cars in the CART series. Sly is supposely a retired driver coming back to help a rookie out or something like that. Burt Renyolds is playing the team boss I think. I think a few real drivers like Christian Fittipaldi have cameos. They've been filming it at alot of races during the year (including here in Toronto). Actually there was a funny story when they were in Toronto, posted in the papers. Stallone was in his golf cart driven by another guy who was trying to navigate through all the people. The guy actually hit two people and Stallone offered them the chance to hang around him for the whole day, I think they may actually find themselves in the film too. All I got was a crappy view for 100 dollar seats.
