Subaru Resignations and Why not turbo information?

I'm sure it was discussed but I couldn't find it. Why did George Muller really leave Subaru on the 15th of this month? Does anyone know where he's going after he's done with the switchover to the new pres? Oh, I finally found the msgs dealing with this in the general section. Nothing really clear cut about if he was forced out by GM or if he really wanted to leave. Anything else come up in the last few days? If GM is muscling into Subaru and wanting to replace their CxO's with GM guys, I'm really not sure if Subaru is my long term car

On another note, the whole turbo or non-turbo in 2001 debate has me slightly confused. Subaru announced the redesigned 2001 Forester quite a while ago. There is an idea that Subaru won't announce a redesigned RS because sales of the MY00 model will drop. But why then release notification of a new Forester for MY01, new 6 cylinder wagon engines for MY01, and all that? Kind of confuses me. Makes me think that there really isn't any _major_ changes going to happen for the MY01 RS.

As has been posted before:

MY01 RS has no major changes.

MY02 RS arriving summer of 01 will be the new body and Turbo/SC

The MY02 will be on the car show circuit next spring. (just like the MY01 Forester and H6 outbacks were this year) When I asked subaru rep, that is what he told me. So just sit back and relax til you see one in your dealer with a turbo in it.
