Post suggestions for bumper vent color

Silver 2000 RS Sedan. I'm kind of tired of the orange and I want to paint the vents. Anybody have a suggestion for a color? Everything's stock on the outside except the pink "i". I thought about silver, but it seems like a pain to get the same silver. Black looks ok. I had a dream last night that I painted them white. Anybody seen a silver with white vents? That seems interesting, but I don't want it to look stupid. I guess I could paint them white and see how it looks, and if I don't like them, I'll paint them something else, probably black.

Yeah, the yellow vents allow more air to flow so it reduces drag and it keeps the brakes cool. It's also been shown to add 15 hp to the wheels.

Calling me rice that's BS. Check any post on rice i'm the first cooker.... The reason i was thinking yellow for my car is cause I don't have anything orange on the car. They look out of place ...maybe just blue. I thought you were in the rice camp anyways?

If my car was blue, I was gonna go with yellow accents. Of course I want clear tailights too.

How about red?

,br>
Sidenote: the red plate frame no longer exists, it got killed by the carwash- it looked tacky anyway.

EDIT: pic should work now

That gives me an idea. Does anybody know what the car looks like without the vents entirely? That would be the preferred look, but it is possible? Does it look natural when they're removed or does it look like there's supposed to be something there?

You can pull them out (use a smallish allen key), but all there is there is a hole after that with a couple of strange edges. Just pull one off and take a look, no harm in that and its easier to paint them when they're off anyways.

Color? Black. That's what I did mine in.

I have a silver 2000 rs sedan as well, I pulled my little orange vent-thingies and left the holes open. I cut away the lip inside the vents, and now the bumper looks MUCH better!! Sorry, I don't have any pictures...

Thought I should contribute having a silver car as well. This is what red looks like with the clear bumper light though.
