Post I just Test-drove a Skyline GTR V-Spec GODZILLA !!!

Hah, not ALL caps this time... (you'll never get me Imprezer )

well what can i say...
I Just Test-drove a Skyline GTR V-Spec GODZILLA ! ! !

what a rush !!!!!!

this is a SERIOUS contender with ANY scoober...

i'm U/L'ing the pics at the moment, i'll let you all know when they are there...

anyway, the thing is BIG and MEAN...
it's fast and demonic and civilised at the same time, this one only has a pair of direct cone filters on the turbos and a twin exhaust line but pulls like a train...

the sound is one of the most beautyful ones i've heard and the atmospheric BOV's in combination with cone filters makes for the sweetest sounding decompression....

ahhh dilemma, dilemma

Your're an idiot if you don't buy it. Find a way to finance it, don't eat, don't sleep.

Hey, what's with the mirrors on the fenders of the SUVs? Are those Jap. spec. vehicles?
Looks really strange.

Compete with a Scoobie? There's no Subaru sold in North America that can compete with the Nissan.

I noticed this one has the 180kph speedo. What's the deal? Why's everybody using 180's? Especially a car like this that is capable of speeds exceeding 150 mph (240kph), the 180 is stupid.

it's a law in Japan, this one is from Japan...

before cars had a speedo like that and you had to change it
what they do is they change it for a tuner's speedo and it goes 360degrees, so it's from 0 to 180 and around again, it's really cool..

now cars have regular speedos like the cool one in the version 5 impreza but have a speed limiter that can easily be overridden

the car is capable of 250 in stock form.

Richard... you're back

yep, didn't i tell you ?
i must have forgotten....

well like i told you before, all the parts from the headers to the back-box are REAL WRC-spec, the cams and injectors too, it has a 40mm restrictor, to dial the torque curve, the Link to control it all and he said that when they came to work on the intake manifold they saw that it couln't be any better than it was already. what a great car... but in USD the 22B is 50 000 and the Godzilla is 23 000, so i reckon that with the extra dough i could buy some fishunchups or some crazy mods...

O/...?

Wait, the Skyline is *only* $23,000 USD? Damn...getting an RS for a few grand less than a GTR V-Spec, that's a scary thought. But yeah, I guess you have to consider that "different country" thing, but still.....

if I could buy a car like that for only $23,000 I'd have two of them, one with rain tires, and one with dry tires

damn I hate emission and bumper laws...

If you were still in Canada, I'd drive to Montreal to slap you ;-). You are a blessed young man, to have these options available to you at such a young age.

To solve you dilemma- 22b= $50,000, nice, but too much.

Here is what I would do- Skyline GTR v-spec Godzilla AND a WRK STi v6 for about the same amount. That's what you are going to do. Forget this wagon crap.

Let's not forget that the skyline is only a little bit of (trunk) monkeying around and you get 500hp.

500hp will shut up mostly everyone.

yuck, R32...

you're better off building a "WRX" with an RS than buying this POS...

an R33 or R34 is totally different story...

plus i'm sure he paid an arm and a leg for it too... a shame really
