Exclamation Silencer?

i was wondering if the silencer was in the 2000 model the reason why is because i just installed a larry's cold air intake and was wondering if that silencer was in the 2000 model so i can get rid of it. thanks

don't know... I think so. it's fairly easy to see though. All you have to do is open up the hood and look at the front passenger corner. If you've got a black piece running into the fender, take it off and look in there... chances are you'll see a big plastic box in there...

Nope, there's nothing in the fender on the 2000's. I just took off everything to the large filter box, and man, does the car GROWL when you step on the gas!

Does anyone know is there is a blank of some sort that you can buy to fill the hole left in the fender after taking the stock airbox off?

yes y9ou can get the plug for the MY00 cars from your dealer or any subaru parts dealer

Part number for the blank is:

Plug - 46059FA000
cost is around 5 or 6 bucks. Fits that hole just fine. Even works in the Legacy, I put on in the 97' Legacy Outback we have
