Thumbs up Meguiar's plastic scratch remover

I think there was a question about removing scratches on plastic a couple of months ago. I scratched my headunit's plastic front recently while vacuuming it. Meguiar's has two products that will remove small scratches very well. You need both the Mirror Glaze Professional Clear Plastic Cleaner (# 17) and the Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish (# 10). Follow all instructions. You use the cleaner first, then the polish. Use a clean, soft cloth and clean the plastic surface, first - before using these products. It works great on the plastic in front of the car instruments too. You probably want to rub in a circular motion. Don't rub over painted lettering or anything like that. Don't be afraid to give it a try, it really works.

Hey thanks for the post, I need to do that to mine. I can hardly read the display because of all the scratches. I also have heard of a similar product from Mothers. I haven't taken the time to look for them though.
