Question To mjos: S4 experience

The original thread got lost, here's my reply:

I wish I had the S4. Drivetrain and interior are the main selling points, but definitely not my style of car - no wings, 4dr only. I liked Impreza's styling much better, only if it has the kind of power that the S4 is providing. Don't have that kind of money to get one though (Now even if I do, it might be more tempting to get the LHD RA)

Just one question - How does the torsen diff feel comparing to the viscous diff of the Impreza?

I feel ya..
the S4's interior parts are legendary to say the least. The best interior ever. The engine completely rocks..
but the styling is .. ahhhh.. so-so.. more for family.

it's also quite expensive @ 45,000$ cheapest price

agreed about the styling - it's more of a luxry sedan. That's why if there's a better legal way to import that LHD WRX RA, I would rather do that instead getting of the S4. Much more aggressive styling for the RA compared to the S4

And 1 more major deciding factor could be the diff - torsen vs viscous... which is safer and more fun to drive - that's the question.
