Question P1or Sti 5

Which suspension is a rougher ride, which do you think handles better. Has anyone ridden in both. I have done searches, but didn't like the answers. Also, where could i find p1 fog light covers, and front lip, thank you.

OK...

The STi v.5/6 suspension is difficult to explain...

If you're talking about the stock suspension on the STi version Impreza, it uses the same shocks as the P1 and stiffer springs.

If you're talking about the aftermarket suspension (pink in color and expensive in price) it is much stiffer and runs about $1200 for springs and struts.

The P1 is supposedly the most streetable suspension possible, consisting of Eibach springs and the same struts that are stock on the STi v.5 Impreza. These struts are red, BTW.

The P1 suspension will run you about $550 shipped from a place like subaruparts.com while the STi v.5 suspension will be more like $650 as the springs are not available from SOA yet. The aftermarket STi suspension (the expensive pink stuff) is going to cost. $1200 is about right.

Have a good one.
