Will these wheels fit over stock brembos?
Also would it be flush or sticking out or sunk in?

depends on spoke design. it wont be sunk, it'll be "flush enough" to look good if you go with a 235/40 - 245/35 tire.

Default BBK templates are available

I don't know about all brake manufacturers, but I have found several that offer a section view or silhouette like drawing of their calipers and rotors so you can paste them on something stiff, cut them out and place them inside the wheel hub to see if they will clear. Stoptech is one.

Why these manufacturers don't make them easily accessible on their site is a mystery to me. They seem to be inscrutably hidden in the bowels of their website and you only get the link to the drawing when you ask for it.
Call the manufacturer or distributor and ask for the drawing/specification link so you can download and print them. Even a wheel manufacturer sent me a PDF section view when I asked if a BBK would fit a specific product they offered.

If I was looking for winter rims on a stock 2011 Sedan STI,

What width and offset should I get for a 17" given that I would probably run narrower snow tires?

I am leaning towards OZ Racing Superturismo WRC rims.

TIA

well...05-07 oem sti wheels work so that'd be a good starting point.

That's what I'm doing. If you shop around, you can get the wheels pretty cheap.
They are very strong so they make good winter wheels.

i'd try to sell my 05-07 sti bbs winter setup but i'd basically be selling the tires and giving the wheels away for free. that's how much they're worth

ditto
I have two sets and it seems pretty pointless to sell a set just to get enough money to buy some used Rotas.

This is what I did and I am very happy with the performance:
Dunlop Graspic DS-3, 235-45-17 on black Motegi rims, 17x8 with 45mm offset. About same weight as stockers.

Can anyone comment on the bolt pattern for JDM STi's? IE which years were 5x100 (MY and Version #) and which years were 5x114. Did they switch in line with the USDM STi's in 2005?

Also, any link to a good resource about the JDM STi wheels would be useful. Comparing the different versions and such.
