Any info you have about these is greatly appreciated.
Sorry they didn't fit, but it's most likely because you got the wrong specs. If you were to look at the list here is the fitment for the STi: Volk GT-N = 18x7.5_ET37... (PhastM3). Notice it's a +37 and not +48 offset. Lastly if you get the wheels in the specs I listed you won't need spacers, but your best bet would be to contact PhastM3 if you have any additional questions as he is the one that has them on his car.

Here is a picture of PhastM3's STi with the GT-N's (with the specs I have listed on the first page):

Well just by doing a for 5Zigen in the Vendor "For Sale" Classifieds forum, I found multiple vendors that carry the wheel your looking for. Here are a few links to which vendors have them: Vivid Racing, autoarttech.com, and lastly Aerosim Research Ltd.

Hope this helps,
Rick

p.s. They will not fit in a 17" size

ami2fst4u,

RE:

OZ Superleggera = 18x8_ET48... (Luke@Tirerack)

I just e-mailed Luke and asked him the following:

I see on the list of wheels that fit the USDM STI, you have confirmed that the18"x8" OZ Superleggara with a +48 offset will indeed fit. Is this a hubcentric rim or do I need rings? Also this wheel does not require spacers or anything special right? Direct-Bolt on no problems? and lastly, Is this a wheel that tirerack carries or is planning to carry?
Thanks,
Scott
This is the response I recieved:

The 18" Superleggera does not fit .... The 19" does and does not require spacers ... But does utilize a centering ring.

Thank You,

So I am guessing that this wheel needs to be removed from the list although it is a little funny that the OZ's used to be a +51 offset and now the new ones I see listed have changed to a +48 offset(STI specific?)
Any thoughts anyone??

That's odd, I actually got that specifically from a thread Luke started here: minor announcement .... STi wheels. If I were you I would email him back, as now he is going against his own words.

Impreza WRX STi 255 or bigger tire!

I put 245/40 17 on my factory rims and they look exactlly like the origianl ones. with and 8.5 rim id go with a 255 or 265. Its a toss up, i guess. You loose so much in the rain with the wide tires. Id have to go with 265/40 17 or maybe 255/40 17.

Yes they will fit, seen it done! Hell i could have put 255/40 17 on my factory rims no problem.

PICTURES PLEASE!

we have not been able to verify the 18" fitment ourselves yet so, that is why I can not guarantee that it will work .... the 19" 48mm version is STi specific

Luke, thanks for clarifying that for us. I have now updated the list and changed the color of the OZ Superleggera = 18x8_ET48 to red and added (unsure).
