Default Subaru Scheduled Service questions..

I'm at about 15,000 miles, and looked at the rediculously expensive cost of the 15k service package. So, I scheduled an appointment to have the oil changed, tires rotated, clutch inspected and brakes inspected. I called to verify my appointment, and the service scheduler asked what was wrong with my clutch. I told him it was operating properly, so he said there was no need to check it. Down the road, if I have a warranty issue, will they say "you should have had the 15k service done!!!"? Any experiences with this? I'd rather spend on the 30k service, and not pay them excessive amounts to do their quick checks on the 15k.

Thanks

Just take your car to a cheaper non-dealer shop for all the 15k service. Show them your service schedule and make sure they list everything there on the invoice, or sign off in your book, and you're set. My local independent Subaru mechanic charged something like $100 total IIRC; basically, an hour of labor plus materials, disposal fees, and tax.
I feel pretty confident about the normal stuff, but like the security of having a real mechanic take a look at the whole car once a year to make sure nothing is starting to go wrong.
