What To Do With A 2.2?

Just aquired a 97 OBS (auto unfortunately), and after looking around, I'm noticing a definite void in things to do with this car. Did I just screw myself? I guess I just need some inspiration for light engine, suspension, interior,exterior modding. I don't want to go overboard but aside from the slow engine I can just tell this car has possabilities.

you can do some some pretty sick suspension work, but it will never be fast or look good without some serious $$$

ouch, my other option is an Acura Legend 3.2L V6... maybe I should just accept FWD life and deny myself the AWD fun... hell it only snows here like 2 weeks a year max

hey man, i didn't mean to put you off by that comment. i've got a '99 Outback that I really enjoy. It handles great, probably much better than a legend could ever handle. Go for the Subaru.
