Default 2003 Subaru im[preza 2.5RS Headers

HEY! I have a 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. It is the bug eyed one. It has the 2.5 L engine in there, EJ25. I am intersted in purchasing some headers for it. Does anyone know which are some good ones for it, pictures of the ehaders, hp results, adnw here I can purchase them. I would prefer major brands *Greddy, HKS, and etc*

Let me know! Thanks!

Borla makes header for the 2.5 (can buy one from RenickMontorsport vendor here also)

also Revolution Motorsports (vendor here) made a replica of that header

well no major brands other then borla really make headers for our cars, but there are several very reputable companies that do, cobb tuning, twe, brullen and mrt all make equal length header/cat combo's that have shown to add more power then the borla's, the cobb's are new, so no numbers on them, but i recall seeing some gtech numbers for brullen's headerback setup at like 20 whp, and 16 whp for the mrt, even with the crap muffler it has(get another axelback with it, maybe 18-20 whp then), and thats dyno numbers, twe and cobb should both be right around there for power, but expect to pay between 700-1000 for header/cat combo other then the mrt (600 ish header to axel)

the borla's and the several copies of them make 4 whp and 7ftlb iirc header only

Any headers that work for the old school RS (98-01) should fit the 02-03 RS with no issues.

Reading the sticky at the top of the forum and clicking on the appropriate link would yield the following thread: clicky

Enjoy, and remember to look at the sticky or run a search before you ask a question that may have been asked before.

Actually, some of those brands you listed do create parts for our car...or more specifically, the normally aspirated EJ25. However, they are expensive. Someone here had a set of SYMS headers, for the NA engine. I think they may have been for the NA 2.0liter, but I think they mate up with the EJ25. Might need a different crossmember though...I haven't seen pics to be sure.

but the ricers are me say the same thing, somehow a fartcan was enough to make up the 130 hp difference between their civic and my old supra turbo
