Thumbs up blitz SUS type LM intake

I finally put on my blitz SUS short ram after letting it sit in a box for nearly a year. My first impressions are good ones. First off, turbo lag is way down, my turbo seems to spool about 300rpm sooner and i have a lot more bottom end torque. Second, the sound is addicting. I love hearing the turbo spool and the bypass valve flutter. A+!

do NOT wet the filter with water or other cleaning material!

it's made of paper basically...

and you need to replace it.. yea they come in different colors like blue, yellowish, and one more color (forgot)...

replacment is 3000yen...i have yet to buy one so i'm not sure how much exactly in US or cdn..

Unfortunatly the SUS LM style intake does need a new element every so often. we don't have them in stock but would be more then happy to order them for you.

Edit: they also come in black orange and blue

I came across a website which conducted tests on a few big name air filters.

The Blitz SUS rated very poorly in filtration. Apexi intake came out on top.

Has anyone went from a hacked Injen to a SUS filter? Dan at Godspeed swears by the SUS because he's seen it make a decent amount of power more than other short rams. I was thinking if I had some extra cash I might check this out.
