Default DFW OT: Good martial arts schools in DFW?

I'm looking to start taking martial arts in the DFW area. I want the focus to be on real-world self-defense situations -- something like Krav Maga or Brazilian Ju Jitsu, or just good ol' fashioned boxing. Anyone have any recommendations on reputable places around here?

Thanks!
Paul

Are you looking to study in the Fort Worth area or are you also looking in Dallas?

Fort Worth would be great, but I'm not expecting a whole lot to be over here. Dallas area would be fine.

Go see Carlos Machado. He has a school here in DFW that I used to train at. He is not the cheapest but he will teach you alot and give you a good beating in the process.

He's affliated with us, in Austin:

As a community-education based program, our prices are affordable f for students and families.

ITA TaeKwonDo - The ITA has schools all over Texas....

http://webpages.charter.net/tmtkd/

Visit several schools, take a class at each of them.
Talk to the instructors and ask them plenty of question.
Ask them about the organization they are part of.
Ask them about their certification and continuing education requirements.

Well, I know everyone else has posted their site, so I guess it's my turn.

Soo Hwa Kung Fu

Its in Plano, but the owner of the school is the Grandmaster of the system. We teach using fast multiple strikes. Kind of like advanced Wing Chung with kicks, throws and little grappling.
