Question Adam99RS....what happened at the track?

Went to the Import Lowrider event this Sunday at Englishtown and it was awesome. Nice looking low rider and show cars, great import drag racing, bikini contest, breakdancing, Slick Rick rapping, etc, etc.

Got to see a couple of Subarus running too. Thanks people for representing us at the strip. I had my wife and son with me that a couple of you met so I wasn't racing.

Adam, I noticed that when I saw you run the first time to qualify that all 4 of your tires were spinning at the line. What was that all about? So much for your tires not spinning at the line, like the cartest program does. Adam, I think the announcer said your mechanic was driving your car, is that true? Also, one of your later runs (bracket racing) you ran an 18.?? 1/4 mile, what happened?

I was pretty excited to see your car as well as others there but when I saw your car, I knew it was going to go at least in the high 12's since you did so much to it. I saw you run a 13.2 but I could've missed some of your other runs if in fact your did make some more runs.

Is your car ok?

Yeah, car is ok. I did the first run, had a decne t60 foot (1.89), and then my #2 Magecor fell off. I have been having this problem for awhile, but it was only the #4 wire (always on the block side). I switched back to a stock wire, which was fine. Anyway, once I clicked the 1-2 shift, it went dead, and I ran the rest of that run on 3 cylinders (13.7). Run 2, (yep, Mike was driving, I was napping since I got home from partying at 5:00 am, and left my house at 7 for the track. He smoked the tires, had a ****ty 60 foot (2.1!! ouch!), and ran a 13.20 (we borroed someone's plug wire. Run three, and I couldn't get the borrowed wire back on, so as soon as Mike launched, it popped off. Rather than run, hejust coasted it, thus the 18 second run. We spoke to Magnecor, and they are mmaking me up 2 new sets that they claim will never pop off unless we take them off ourselves.....we'll see. We are going back to the track Wednesday (out in the Hamptons), and I am sure mid 12's will prevail. I won't be driving, since I will be in LA, but I'll post results over the weekend.

I've had that same problem on the cylinder closest to the battery. NE1 else, maybe Magnecore should send me a set as well.
