Default who went from Unichip+EMI+MBC to a UTEC? Was it a HUGE difference?

I'm considering the step up from a vishnu unichip+emi+MBC to a UTEC. Is there a HUGE difference in smoothness? Some more power across the board?

Thanks.

Brandon

Thanks dunk, I should have included that.
Basically a Stage one by vishnu standards:
TB exhaust, uppipe, underdrive pulley, MBC, colder plugs.

Talking I did it this week....

...as a matter of fact, I went in that order too! I can't really say I notice a HUGE difference, it is noticable, but unfortunantly I am having all kinds of problems with the tuning? Car didn't like the normal stage 2 (knock knock!) so I am on stage 2 new and car is stutering like a crack head through the midrange.

But I would def. tell you to get the UTEC if your not done moding! I'm sure I'll love it once things are strait!

This is exactly what I'm looking forward to doing here in the next couple weeks. Anyone want to buy a unichip

Unichip vs UTec is night and day as far as I'm concerned. After switching I could never go back to the unichip.. Especially with the new WB unit coming out for it.

any other UTEC fans with similar mods?
is the UTEC is just as smooth as stock at partial throttle as well as full throttle? The unichip/MBC/EMI combo shines under full throttle, but it stumbles around 3-5 psi of boost. I have learned to drive without hovering in that range.

The UTEC "comes on" at 60% throttle (you can change it to whatever you want). With your mods, the default should do.
