Default coilovers or coilover sleeves?

I really need everyones opinions

Theres 2 suspension options I'm pondering for my 97 Legacy:

1. buy Tein HA coilovers that are made for the GC8 for about 1400 bux

or

2. buy coilover sleeves and KYB's

For under $1000 I'm doing Koni inserts and GC sleeves. That $1000 includes a spare set of 2.5GT housings so I can keep my stock ones (just in case).

That's $1000US, the stuff is not installed on the car yet (assembly in progress, hopefully I'll have time next weekend to finish and get it installed).
