I have a '93 legacy that the power windows stopped working today. All the windows do not run. It does not matter which switch you use - drivers side, passengers side or rears.
I've checked the fuse box under the dash (drivers side footwell) and the one on the driver's side of the engine compartment and all seem fine. However, I've not seen a listing on any of the covers that showed a power window fuse. Is there another fuse box? Other ideas about what failed? TIA. mch.

My FSM for the 90 shows a relay under the drivers seat close to the door, under the carpet.
Manual says to remove the seat and roll back the carpet. Just another place to look. |

also, if the master switch (driverside door) goes out then none of the windows will work.

if you want i can ship ya a master door switch out of a 92 turbo. should be the same.
i dont think the fuse box in the motor bay would be of concern. if one of those fuses was blown then you would have big problems. |

All the stuff in the engine bay fuse box is for a/c and engine electricals (and headlights). There should be a fuse AND a relay for the windows.

I'm out travelling for the next week but will check out the switches when I get back. If I need them I'll be in touch.
Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it. mch. |
