Im going to be headding to ATP or vishnu to get a dyno for a 02 wrx... When i dyno i will have on the car an vishnu U/P, 3" TURBO back( no cats ), IC hoses, Zerosports intake and k&n filter, lightweight crank pulley and colder plugs...
Also i have an MBC ( running 13psi )and a Dastek Unichip ( <-- i have no idea *** is does can someone explain ) I havent had time to consult with the owner of the car about what the Dastek Piggy back ECU is, But with that said... My plans are to get a S-AFC and have it tuned to give me the fuel needed for my setup... I don't want to get a re-flash yet because I dont know if i'll be done modding for the future, maybe get an exhaust manifold or larger turbo. But whats your suggestions.. iM pretty much new to the suby powerplant ![]()

The Dastek Piggy back ECU, otherwise known as a unichip is a piggyback fuel and timing computer. As well as being able to make fueling changes, like a S-AFC, it is also able to make timing changes as well.
That being said, apart from the ability to tune yourself, it seems redundant to put a S-AFC on the car when you have a unichip. It would be far more worthwhile to have Vishnu just tune the unichip, a system they have lots of experience with. This will most likely give you far greater gains than the S-AFC due to the ability to make timing changes. cheers Duncan |
