Cool Back from Outer Banks - Thanks!

I'm back from a week in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Thanks to everyone for the advice on routes to take - especially DuneHopper - you're e-mail was very helpful!
Had a great time - got to play in the ocean, toured the newly relocated Hatteras lighthouse and visited the Wright Brothers Museum.

Thumbs up

You're most welcome, Mike. Glad you had a safe and great time at the OBX. It's one of my favorite places, I try to get there each summer and fall, and get my Impreza sandier!

Pretty crazy how they moved an entire lighthouse! Are they letting people up in it yet? Last year when I was there, they had just finished the move, but you couldn't go in yet.

Cool

Yup, they're letting the public in again - though I think it's more than they expected as far as numbers - the wait can be long at times. We got lucky, though and went right in. The Wright Museum was pretty cool, too. To stand there and think of what they accomplished - they actually built the engine from scratch - incredible!
