Post '02 WRX Upgrade turbo kits!!! Check it!!

hehe...I knew you'd come in. No seriously, what do you guys think the upgrades gonna be? Software upgrades? Bigger turbos, injectors? Bigger intercoolers? Who do you think is going to offer these things first? iSR? Cobb? Teagues? Could anyone guess on the price of some of these. Oh man I can't wait. What a glorious day it was when Subaru planned to build a turbo charched WRX for the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chill out fellow newbie.
Injectors are always available.
ECS,,bolt on turbos, exhaust, are all gonna take a while for US companies.
The Japanesse companies will be the first out with everything, they have a head start.
Followed by european companies. Then US.

My dealer has told me...and before anyone resorts to dealer bashing (deserved in most cases, but not here), he's been right on the money about his facts so far...that there will be a Subaru offered upgrade chip that'll push the ponies up to around 280.

It's basiclly the same under the body. They already make exhaust for it like Syms. They make headers, down pipes and exhaust. You can get the exhaust aft or the down pipe from some one else to save money.

Cool

Greedy already has upgrade turbos and intercoolers for the WRX. But they only have them in Japan. But if you talk to Greedy rep they can probable get them for you. Or thats what I have been told by a Greedy Rep.
P.S. does ne1 know if the WRX exaust is the same as a 2000 RS. Besides the cats

Looks like with the password protection, it isn't working. Go register at overboost.com and in the Tokyo Auto Salon section, they have a couple pics of the silver Blitz WRX. Looks pretty nice.

There are a few kits available. These guys offer theirs for a good (rather inexpensive) price, esp the RT spec www.airpowersystems.com.au/wrx/rt_spec.html

Just to back up what enuttage said about the chip upgrade...
My father is a Subbie dealer and a little while back he heard the same rumour from his dealer rep to SOA, that a chip upgrade would be availible someday that would push HP to ~280HP.
So of course I hope this stays true!

I just bought a HyperREV Impreza magazine number 9.

Cusco has tons of ****, Zero factory, Syms, Buddy club has cool ****,STI has a lot, but not top notch ****(in comparrison).

Cool **** of note, Zero factory has extreamly cool **** 6speed mission-Programable ECU-exhaust-turbo you name it, buddy club coilovers-exhaust-wheels,
Jun is filled with some insane power hungry nuts (I am not getting into it,but they are crazy),STI gauge pack-silicone radiator hoses-Alum diff cover are all very cool, nice guages also, Cusco coilovers-braces-diffs-multi disc clutches,Flatt racing small ducts replacing the turn signal near the headlight (Ugly, and I doubt would help much if at all)

There is more but I aint trying to list it all.
