Go to the latest news press release... Rhys Millen will be campaigning a Mitsu Lancer EVO at Pikes Peak.... the interesting tidbit is, he mentions they are preparing the car to run in the SCCA Pro Rally championship! Could this spell a return to the glory days of the '80's when his dad, Rod, campaigned the AWD RX7 against John Buffum's Audi Quattros? Certainly the Millen family/businesses have the resources to run successfully against Libra Racing's Tiburons. With the appaearance of Evo's, WRX's, maybe Foci, in Pro Rally it could prove to be an interesting cople of years to come. Whaddaya think?

I hope they do race a Evo in the Pro Rally events. The more these cars get good press and get seen by regular people the more likely a few more will start to ask that the US get them.

Err.. N/A, there WERE 7 or 8 EVO's (and numerous other DSM products) at Susquehannock Trails Pro Rally in Wellsboro, PA - 1 won the event (Karl Scheible) - in some part due to attrition among capable competitors, yet obviously the cars are competent when prepped well (um, besides, of course, their WRC showings). There were also 2,3, or more Sube WRX/RX based, and/or former ProDrive cars there as well.....don't know if these guys just have bags of money to chuck, but these neat cars ARE arriving to be campaigned here.....
