Cool Can someone install my shifter bushings for me?

Since I don't have any tools or a lift and my dad doesn't want me to do any mods, there is really no way I can do this simple install myself. Would someone be willing to install them for me? Or can I borrow someones lift for 30 minutes while I do the install? Help a poor college kid out.

just use your stock jack thats in your trunk and some 20 dollar jack stands. I think its either 8,10, or 12mm socket u need. It took me about 15-20 min to do it. You should try to do these mods yourself as you learn a good deal. If you goto www.scoobymods.com and search for shifter bushings there is a write-up on how to install them. I would do it but your out in maryland.

PM'ed you.
If you don't want to do it yourself, I could do it for you next Sunday afternoon in Ellicott City.

I'm actually in the exact same boat as applesauce. Someone want to help me out as well? I'm in Baltimore. I could drive out to Clarksville though if someone's gonna help out applesauce.

When I put mine in, I just drove my front tires onto some two by fours that made a little ramp. That gave enough room to slide under. You'll still need some metric sockets (I forget what size), but it's fairly easy.

I'd also help, but you're a little far from philly.

Those Rhino Ramp things are pretty cheap. I cheated though, I put the bushing on the STi linkage I was installing while it was off the car. It took a good amount of wriggling to get the stock rubber bushing off; I can't imagine doing it while it's still on the car but apparently it's not that bad
