Default a carb on a ej25

ok, let say i pulled my engine, mounted it on a stand... would i be able to put a carb on the block? i know that i would need a L shape tube to make it so the carb sits upright and not on its side unless i used a carb from a bike? hmm..

but what would i do about ignition? u cant use a dist... ?

the only reason i ask is because i want to donate my engine to the school i graduated from, and i know it would be alot easier for them to work with if it had a carb on it.

but if i build the engine and just tec3 it ill just use the harness i take out and give that to them and hopefully donate a working engine

Subaru used carbs in the past on some of their engines. Giving the "legos" nature of Subaru's you might be able to source the manifold and carbs off of one of those engines and have them mate right up. Worth looking into...
