Any mods? Such as a boost controller or intake?

Well, since your car is stock I would assume that it is just the temperature change, your turbo will run at a higher boost pressure in the cold weather. If you reall want to get a positive answer then you should PM Pace and ask him, he always seems to have the answer.

So does that mean the 3/16 mod is a bad thing?

I would try to put the stock T back in and see what happens.
BEN Also if you cel goes on it should store a code so go to autozone and have them pull it. There is also something called a freezeframe but autozone won't eb able to look at that. What it does is record all of your sensors/inputs at the time that the cel goes off. Any respectable mechainic should have a scanner that can pull the freeze frame |

Try going back to stock. The 3/16" mod seems questionable. |

i did the 3/16"ths when i first got my car. i didn't notice the boost spike then cause i had no boost gauge. i don't think it's really a bad thing. can't be any worse than just throwing a boost controler on the car.
