Default Oil pressure

Any of you guys with the oil pressure gauges know about how long you have after startup for the oil preesure and oil temp to be at a favorable level? I don't drive my car hard until I am at operating temp on the factory temp gauge. I have heard you do not want to drive it hard until the oil pressure is at a proper level. How long does it take to get there? 10 minutes? 20 minutes?

That would depend on the outside temperature. Usually ~5 minutes if you let it idle. If you drive around a bit after it's started.. it may take a bit less.. maybe like 3 minutes?
