Post Kill the bird!

Come to work this moring. I noticed a big bird (blueish color) sitting on my passanger side mirror. I was like "don't you dare ..." before I can finish the thought, wam... i got some white crap on my blue new WRX side mirror. I think the same bird did a fly by job also, cuz there is another strip of white one on the door. I gonna start to put little poison in the bird feeders! Any poison recommandations? j/k
*sigh* gonna wash my 3 day old car

That's nothing. I used to drive a white Saab 900. At one point, I was living in an apartment building with alot of blackberry bushes growing nearby. Birds that have been eating blackberries don't leave white marks. They leave bright PURPLE marks Not only that, but it left stains that took me a couple hours of polishing to get rid of.

Get one of those inflatable snakes to scare them off. Well....nevermind...Falcons like snakes and they happen to have fairly long talons.

Damn, what the hell are those things calle... we always called em R2D2's because they look like R2D2.

Anyway, they are on ships and they are computer controlled gatling gun houses that are used as missile defense I think. DAMN. I can't remember the name of em.

Regardless, we should build a prototype with a gatling gun that shoots BBs.

Make it so that it is mounted with an electro magnet and powered off a spare 12 volt in the trunk. That'll learn them birds.

GOTTA LOVE GOOGLE!!!

"This little R2D2 looking thing is called Phalinx. It's used for surface to air protection. In essence, it's a gatling gun with a radar. A BIG gatling gun. It can track multiple targets, track it's own bullets and chop incoming missles right in half...and then go after the big pieces. Sounds like a big vacuum cleaner when it fires."

The birds literally got my car as I was pulling out of the dealership. I hadn't driven the thing more than 10 feet when I heard this *plop* sound across the top of the car. I hopped out and looked, and sure enough, I'd been divebombed. Those little flying punks are evil, I tell you. Evil.

Those are specially trained birds from PETA. They know that cars kill insects....and are doing everything they can to stop us!

IMHO -- Rally Blue seems to attract the ***** a bit more than other colors. It is just the way it is, I guess.

My 1998 RS (Rally Blue Pearl) was always the target, when other cars in different colors were parked closely to it.

My 2002 WRX (Aspen White) is much better in regards to this issue, especially since I park in all of the same places as I did with the RS.

If I can keep my car free of bird crap, I will let it go months before washing it. If I wash it out of the blue, BAM!! Immediately I get nailed by at least 5 birds with MAJOR gastrointestinal problems.

just a word of warning... (oh, and i'm not legal council, so don't quote me on this but...)

be careful what ya shoot in Colorado. i understand it's about a 65000 dollar fine for offing a bluebird...on of the varieties is endangered...

so as always, know what you're shooting before it gets messy, cause the gun is always loaded.
