Question Rear Trunk Lid Cover???

I was looking at the underside of my 99 2.5 RS Trunk and it looks like there could be a cover that attached to cover up all of the bracing. Like you open up the trunk and look at it and it it carpeted lid?I think it would look a lot better with one.

thanks,
Greg

I agree... I've got dynamat all over the inside as well so I would really like to find a way of carpeting it somehow. I havn't heard of a factory cover so I'm planning on just getting some carpet and gluing it down. I'm just not sure how much work that will entail to get it looking good.

maybe someone else has some ideas?

I think maybe a Subaru L has one. a lot of companies cut out stuff like this on sports car to try and save weight. It looks like it is pre cut for a panel to pop into place. Even with holes to secure it with in six places.

I never had a trunk light never installed one. Don't see the need for one.

thanks,
Greg
