Default difference between 00RS and 99RS

i am currently parting out my 99 RS-T but i dun have some of the stock parts ie) sensors...etc........
however, the shop has a spare 00 RS engine (complete w/ ECU) here so i can use its parts..........
except the MAF and MAP are different between 00 and 99 RS. What else is different? (The bracket on the side of the intake filter which near the suspension, what sensors or plugs are these?)

I believe the injector and rails are also different - something about air injection via the 00+ injectors?

Also, the intake manifold for the 00 is different because of the MAP sensor location, while the 99 has the MAF so the intake piping and airbox is different, as you know. I am thinking the ECU is different too, although you'd think that the ECU could use an MAF or a MAP and know which one it was using, I don't think it does. Both are phase II motors, so other stuff should be okay.

"The bracket on the side of the intake filter which near the suspension, what sensors or plugs are these" - that would be the brakes proportioning valves for front to rear bias.

i have the stock 99 rail and injectors but the intake manifold is 00 and the ECU is 99. For the intake pipe i think i will put in an aftermarket intake pipe and put in the MAF.

do you think i will need a 99 manifold as well?

I am thinking that as long as you keep the hole where the MAP goes plugged you'd be okay.

What I don't know if how the air injection through the injector bungs works on a 2000 vs a 99 - if they are different, and need some kind of control, it may be an issue, but if it is all mechanical where when you let off the gas the air rushes in, it might be okay unless the 2000 ECU has to do something with AF ratios when it does that. Blah blah - I wish I knew how it worked, just know it is there...
