Now I do not get any Knock when I accelerate from 1st to 3rd.

but if I start accelerating in 2nd I do.

any advice for me?

Whoa, you got 17.4 psi of boost in 2nd gear on that last log!

Are you using launch control in the last log? Looks like it. Been thinkin' of trying it, just to see what it does.

Important note:

The 12.5 AFR constant keeps the UTEC from taking control before going rich. When you put values in the 0% column for timing, then you are 'overriding' the AFR constant for timing!!! The UTEC will be advancing timing to the 0% column value before you go open loop.

I got knock when I put 22's in my 0% column in the high rev areas, when the car was still in closed loop at WOT. Had to lower it to 18's. I don't know if avoiding shift knock is worth putting values in the 0% column for timing on 04's, until the permanent fix comes. I also filled in values in the 10% to 40% columns for timing for 4500-7500 rpms. It doesn't look like you did. I may need to go back to ECU control for those load points.

your right. I am overriding ECU control without going RICH. Is this a problem? It seemed to fix my knocking problem though...

I have the lowest timing values in the 0% column. I think it's in the range of 17 - 19.

oh that was no launch control. Just a good ole fashion 5500 rpm clutch slipping launch

I've got my 0% column at 17-18 starting at 4250. And I filled 10-40% columns also, ramping the timing up to what was in the 50% column. I'm running the Stg 2 93 map, though, so it has higher timing than the Stg2new map. I have lowered my timing about half way between the stg2new and stg293 because of knock in certain areas. If you want a quick miracle fix, put in a gal. of toluene with your next fill-up. Worked wonders for me. I went from knock in every other gear pull, to zilcho. I'm gonna tune a map with 10% toluene, and have another map for pump gas alone. I'm still trying to find a gas station on my commute that sells dependable 93 octane on a regular basis.

did you get the 3.2 filmware from nathan at TurboXS ?? it is a temp fix for the 04 knock.
