Who is not happy with a JUN replica bumper and how low does it sit?

I'm thinking of getting the JUN replica bumper from gruppe-s. Anyone have fitment issues with it??

Also, anyone know how low it sits compared to the stock bumper?? When i had my greddy lip it was just too low, so i'm hoping that this isnt that low.

I've heard it sits about 2" lower than the stock bumper. So probably the same as your Greddy lip...

I had the Jun replica on before I lowered by car and it was really low. I scraped constantly, even when I was being careful. The fitment was ok, the bumper it self was very flimsey. I had a animal run out in front me and only hit the corner of the bumper and it total destroyed it. It fractured all over the bumper, fiberglass sucks. I now have a urethane lip, which holds up much better and isn't as low.

Hey Raf, talk to DemiGod, he has the original & loves it. I can't remember if it was him or somebody else that I was talking to that had the replica and said it wasn't impressive at all.

ahh man....this isn't what i wanted to hear...

I have prodrive springs now and the greddy lip just was not do-able....at ALL

I figured since my car was gonna be in the body shop anyway for my rear bumper (got rear ended) that i may as well have them paint the JUN for me....guess that's going out the window...

Yeah my front bumper got wrecked so I figured might as well get a Jun replica bumper. Oh well I will be careful and see how she holds up.

lemme know when you get it done. My car is mbp too, so pics would help alot...

are you lowered at all??

Can you do me a favor and measure from the lowest point of the stock bumper to the floor, then when you get the JUN on, measure the same distance so i can get an idea of how much lower it actually sits??

My eventual goal is to go even lower with coilovers, so maybe i should just give up the idea of a bumper or lip...

Bumper should be here Monday at the latest, then off to the body shop. I will have pics sometime this week.

Car is lowered with Eibach Pro springs.

I can't do the pre-measurement cause the bumper is already trashed.

sweet, real interested in what that bumper looks like on mbp, thats the color of my car and I almost bought that bumper. I decided to go w/ stock + v1 lip.(I broke my bumper 2 weeks ago)

i have it. it fit pretty well with some muscles. it does sit real low to the ground. I have tein s-techs and agxs on my 02 and it is damn low. im getting 225/45 tires so i hope it will lift it a little. i have 205/40 now. it is 5.5 inches from the ground with my 40's. i recommend it.

I've had one on for almost a year and a half. Also got the eibachs so the car is pretty low to the ground. I got my good share of paint chips and a few cracks. You may need to refiberglass it after a year of use since the front corners will round off after awhile.

Thanks. Actually the FM is fake. It's a photoshop image. I couldn't wait to get a front mount to see what it looks like with that bumper

Ok, does anyone know if the fog light openings are smaller than the OEM bumper? I can't get these STi solid fog covers to fit.
