Arrow Air bag warning sticker coverup

I used some paint to cover up those warning signs on my visors. I found some paint that matched well enought to do the job. Pics of the results are here in the mods section.

Just curious if anyone knows:

I know that car manufacturers are required to have those there, but it is illegal to remove them by the consumer? If you sell your car, and those warnings aren't there, are you liable?

jasony - No. It is the same deal that comes with those matress labels tha are sewn into their edges. Fact is that you can take them off as long as you're the end-user, as long as you aren't taking it off before it gets to the consumer you're fine. When selling the car, you don't need to put them back on or anything, though, you aren't liable.
