I ordered an intake from them on the 8th... They charged my card on the 13th. Hmmmm, its now the 21st?
They said I would get it in 1 week (the 15th). Does anyone else have any experience with these guys? I've left them a message on thier answering machine but haven't got a response.

I guess Joe hasn't changed much afterall. LOL.
Here is first rule about i Club -- DO NOT ORDER FROM JC SPORTS if you don't want to wait a year for your part. |

Hello,
Well, I hate to be the one to say "I told you so," but... I told you so! Actually, Joe is on vacation or something like that. He told everyone he was going in some of the classifieds section postings. Of course, he should update his telephone, use an automated e-mail response program, ship out products he has charged people for, etc etc etc before leaving. And what's with charging anyway before you have the product to ship?Ah well... If Alex ever turns signature files back on, maybe we can all put "don't order from JC" on our signatures ![]() I am really ready to see stuff hitting the fan when the 30-50 people on that JC Intake groupbuy don't get their intakes... I'm sure Joe's excuse will be "so many intakes, takes a while to make them, had to charge the cards and cash the checks to afford so many intakes, etc". Hahahahahahaha. Oh well... As for Wicked Son, call your CC company and tell them to stop that payment and that you are disputing the charge. Tell them what you told us and tell them that post ordering, you heard JC does this as part of their standard operating procedure (charge people and hold the money for weeks). Then call JC and inform whoever answers the telephone that you have disputed the charge and tell them that you'll remove the dispute and not call the Better Business Bureau if he gets the part to you (arrives at your house) in 5 working days. If he fails, report him to the Co. BBB and tell the CC company that the merchant refuses to cooperate. Joel - tired of hearing about people getting cheated by JC and thinking JC really shouldn't be allowed to offer parts to people. |

Card charged on 13th? Maybe they order the parts from outside source on the same date. Give them 5 business days to arrive to JC Sports, wait a day for them to pack ready, and 3 day for UPS to arrive.
I guess it might arrive on the 26th. (this is what I guess based on my little business experience....) |

if there is a majority of member who have experienced bad service beyond compare at JC Sports, then i think maybe Imprezidente should black ball JC from the site as they have no real positive influence on the Sube-Movement. i had a not-exactly-pretty experience with JC when i ordered my strut tower and sway bar. took over a month to receive my parts. i had to call repeatedly to check on my order. i even emailed the west coast sales rep and he said JC (colorado) was handling my order.

another scooby newbie here. this is my first post. just wanted to say I got my JC Sports intake when I was at there shop in Colorado 2 weeks ago. I have to say that Joe & family have a small 2 stall shop. I was there for 6 hours, saw many subies, and met many scooby's ? One guy from Vail offered me to drive his MY98 Turbo, identical to my subie minus the turbo. It's pretty quick but the altitude takes it's toll.
Back to JC, they are so busy they can't keep the intakes on the shelf. i saw 3 sales when i was there. they seem like pretty cool guys. they let me install my 20mm rear bar and intake at there shop. anyway that's it for now. too long? P.S. MY98 averaged 30 mpg for the drive. |
