Cool My thanks to the wonderful Hampton Roads crew!

I generally am not a lovey-dovey person, but want to say thanks to some really cool people.

Dan (bucklidl) for assisting me on my ill fated attempt at window replacement in my house. We didn't succeed because my replacement window was cracked and I had to get a new one. Then it was too late to start again. Thanks for being there buddy!

Dave (VipersEatLotus), Bob (LotusDrift), Rob (rbehny), and Sean (Nuc1earWinter) then show up at my front door. They were all showing up to help with the window install as well. We ended up buying some butt connectors for Rob's CEL fix and for mine as well. Then to Wal-Mart for wood glue to fix the window trim I destroyed while de-trimming the window frame.

After those jokers left, Colm (REXY WAGON) calls me. It seems that Lisa and him are back in town from SEMA in Vegas. And they brought some toys back with them for me! So Colm and Lisa come over and we chat away for about an hour or so. My wife Becky finally gets to see how civilized Subaru women act, and I do believe some of it rubbed off. I now have the yellow light to get some aero guards like they have on their wagon. Yellow isn't as good as green, but it is a major step up from red.

All told, I had a very nice day thanks to the kindness of a few local Subaru folks. My thanks to you all, and I gladly associate myself with folks of your caliber. Except you Rob, cuz you are a pornographer!

Ron

NO PROBLEM with Home Depot. I asked for an exchange and once the paperwork was done, the lady said the refund was done. So I go to get another window and there are 2 left. One has a huge crack similar to the one I returned! I take the other non-cracked one. Then I had a moral/karmadic dilemma. Tell the clerk that the only window left is cracked or walk out and hope I get someone good by not saying anything....you guys know me well enough to know the answer!

I just got someone good!
